Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent setup Comment: So I researched and researched, considered cheaper options but ended up with this wheel. Why ? The glowing reviews here on Amazon and elsewhere (gaming forums). The wheel, shifter paddles and pedals are of exceptional quality, I love them. The shifter is ehhh.... I'm not crazy about it and I don't use it at all. Its way too loose feeling for me and feels nothing like a shifter should, theres no resistance/feedback? I have 2 manual cars btw. Plus you're a lot quicker with the paddles anyhoo. Theres no real instructions for consoles so I had to do a bit of Googling to figure out what the heck I was doing and there is no option for this wheel in GT5P's menu but rest assured, its one of them I just forget which. The force feedback is strong and quite realistic feeling, the motor does have a whir but you don't notice it as you're racing. I know they mention 900 degrees of motion on the wheel but I wish it was less. As I'm racing I don't like having to turn the wheel so much.
So those few faults I mentioned aside and the fact that you MUST build or buy yourself a racing seat and frame to go along with it, this is an excellent setup. All together you're looking at $400+ for a proper setup not including the game, the system, the tv, etc. but hey its cheaper than racing for real and less real parts to break !!
Customer Rating: Summary: Do not buy for PS3! Comment: Do not buy this for PS3 especially if you are looking for a wheel easily compatible with Gran Turismo. It is not one of the indicated wheels and comes with PC installation instructions. The controls are not corresponding to those in the options menu. Sure, pedals aren't metal, you don't get a clutch pedal and the steering wheel isn't leather wrapped but the GT steering wheel is a better value for most gamers.
Customer Rating: Summary: Worth it, totally worth it Comment: If you like driving, you've got to have this. This wheel, a proper mount and seat for it, and Gran Turismo are a must have. Pricy yes, but cheaper than than the real cars. My Roush 427R Mustang sits in its garage because I'm inside playing. Yes, this wheel's worth it.
Customer Rating: Summary: simply excellent Comment: best steering wheel sim setup I've seen to date. (or at least under 1000 dollars) and the 6spd with a REAL slippable clutch makes it all worth it.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Wheel, Period. very minor flaw Comment: I bought this wheel with great skepticism because I tried the Logitech DFGT wheel and hated it a lot. I returned the DFGT to Best Buy within two days of purchase. I had some money laying around and thought that I should try the G25 and if I didn't like it, I could sell it on Ebay for what I got it for so no money would be lost.
I have to say that I love this wheel. It's leaps ahead of the DFGT and feels much better to drive without much sudden movements. This is my only complain about this wheel. When you are taking a turn, the wheel resists you which is what it's suppose to do, but when it comes back to normal position after the turn, it nudges your hand to the opposite direction which results in your car fish-tailing unnecessarily. It's not as bad as the DFGT though and it's very easy to get used to so that it doesn't happen as often (shifting up right after coming out of the turn makes it less noticiable, plus you could just hold the steering). this is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. On the positive side, this wheel feels great and provides awesome feedback. I absolutely love it. GT5P has full support for it (in the beginning of the race press triangle to turn on the clutch). I've been an avid GT fan since the first GT on the PS. I have to say that my lap times with the wheel are not better than my controller times which is expected I think, but I have much more control and much more consistency with the wheel plus a lot more fun when you have the clutch and the whole set up of a car.
Bottom line is that if you have money for it, don't even hesitate.....BUY IT!!

Simulator-grade force feedback. Rock-solid 900 degree steering. Six-speed shifter. With the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel, you're not playing games anymore - you're racing! The 28cm (11") leather-covered wheel has a stainless steel frame for superior rigidity. The dual-motor force feedback mechanism sports two sets of steel ball bearings for smooth, tight steering and superior force effects. Precision stainless steel accelerator, brake and clutch pedals let you elevate your driving to an art form. Components can be bolted down for exceptional sturdiness - Now it's not the wheel's fault if you don't win.
