Summary: Another impressive album from the master himself
Comment: I've been a fan of Richie Blackmore going back to his Deep Purple and Rainbow days and quickly took a liking to his music in Blackmore's Night. Richie and Candace do not disappoint on this album at all. I was a bit hesitant about Rainbow Eyes, with it being a remake from Richie's Rainbow days. However, Candace did well on it and Richie's guitar work was nothing short of stupendous. I especially love the song Locked Within the Crystal Ball as there are great vocals on it and Richie's usual outstanding guitar work. If you are a new fan, or a "returning" fan of Blackmore's Night, this album will not disappoint you. A definite two thumbs up from me.

Comment: Once again Ritchie Blackmore & Candice Night come through with another spectacular CD filled with amazing music, two thumbs up. I have every Blackmores Night CD & would highly recommend Secret Voyage to anyone who has already heard Blackmores Night before, & anyone who hasn't heard them should listen to some of their music and start their own collection, be prepared to go on your own Secret Yoyage once you start to listen to the music of Blackmores Night.

Summary: Excellent addition to Blackmore's Night's repertoire
Comment: I was a little apprehensive about this CD before it came out. Only twelve songs, and one of those an Elvis cover, only one instrumental. Had Blackmore's Night finally jumped the shark?
No, they haven't. Forget the Elvis cover and you have an excellent addition to their catalog. There are actually two instrumentals, counting the opening track. The guitar work throughout is top drawer, Candice is in excellent voice, there is a varied mix of fast, slow, sad, and party songs, and the quality throughout is excellent. The CD is an instant classic.
