Comment: This CD is exactly what I was looking for!!! When I am scrapbooking or doing a favorite hobby, I love to listen to this cd . Plus, I run a child care home and put this cd on during nap time. The children seem to fall asleep instantly. Not enhanced with music, so it gives it the all naturale effect. Highly recommend!!!

Comment: same as the sounds by the sea which I already reviewed. I love the sound of the rain hitting the ground, and the varying intensity. I just keep falling asleep before its over.

Comment: I love the sound of rain at night, so I bought this.
It is almost everything I could have hoped for. The rain comes and goes, and varies in intensity from light to heavy downpours. Distant sounds of thunder are wonderful. The CD is a single 1 hour track.
I didn't give it 5 stars because:
I don't like the bird sounds - makes me think its daytime. I just don't associate bird sounds with the comforting ambiance of a night rainstorm.
I find that the volume varies a bit wildly - there is too much of a range in my opinion: so if your volume setting allows you to hear the quietest moments, then the loudest moments will be too loud. The opposite is true as well.
But, for $4, I'm totally happy with my purchase.

Summary: The Bird Ruins It
Comment: I should have listened to the other reviews about the bird. It totally ruined this thunderstorm. I found it so annoying that I will probably never listen to it again. I will keep searching for the perfect thunderstorm. Save your money, this isn't it!
