Since their new guitarrist Steve Smyth has joined Nevermore they have not taken one day off and now released the new album "This Godless Endeavor" which basically proves two things: Steve was a very good choice and it was still possible to make a better album than "Enemies Of Reality", Nevermore's last release.
New stuff from Sweden! After taking a little (more) time after their last album "Expanding Senses" for touring and curing Peter Wildoer's harmed hand Darkane now finally released their new album, "Layers of Lies".
This one is a very bad album. Not only beacause of the music, but especially because it will be the last release of the band Sentenced. After many years and many many more songs they finally decided to stop their musical career unfortunatelly.
It took the band Demons & Wizards, which consists of members of the bands Iced Earth and Blind Guardian, whole five years to release their successor to the first self titled album. And both, the quality and the style of the new album, continue where the first release stopped.
Octavarium is the newest release of the old-school prog band Dream Theather and, to say this right at the start, is just as great, big and progressive as their many earlier albums.
After many problems with their guitarist Tripp Eisen, who was accused of sexual harrasment, Static-X finally came back to making music with the release of "Start a War".
