Summary: Guys, Add This Your Shelf...
Comment: I bought this book along with Secrets of the A Game by Logan Edwards. Depending on your style, this book is funnier than most of the other "dry" pickup/seduction books. That's not to say it lacks good information... it has a lot to say. Some of the attitude of this book may be a little harsh for some guys, but it still has the goods and a lot easier to understand and apply than The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed.

Comment: Smart writing, a dry funny sarcasm to it. Not really a pickup book like Mystery, more of a bigger picture approach. Some introspective analysis and solutions to the twisted gender roles men play along with, which often destroy their goals, dreams, self-worth, asset base, and life in many cases. Sort of a "where you can be, where you should be." Definitely recommended for getting the edge.
The tidbits that I recall from memory that were best are the speed seduction tips, not resorting to buying attention or being played; recognizing the value of the quick release, seeing the right mesh of personalities and interest when it's there. Some psychological lessons in creating emotional attraction, and how to stick up for what you want out of a relationship.

Comment:
The divorce industry is not your friend,and rigged entirely against men. As a divorce attorney, men need to wake up and heed the financial advice in this book. You have insurance on your car and home, why in the world would you go into a marriage without insurance on your assets? The tools to setup asset protection are explained in accurate detail. With prior knowledge of how it works, you'll save yourself hundreds of dollars in billable hours going in prepared to the law offices to set it up. More importantly, you'll save half your net worth and structure your income such that the potential monthly payments are minimal. In today's divorce happy environment, it's just not worth the risk.

Comment: Thumbs up for comedy and shock value. Kind of written like the witty, wise old stranger telling his tales about life from the bar stool. Some excellent rants here that are true but never get told, plus some decent advice. I had some difficulty with the chapters not being cohesively tied together in the middle, but it's not a big issue. The metrosexual joke forced down our throats by women and TV is a joke, and put in its place from page one. The fact is playing the nice, sensitive, compassionate guy is the kiss of death and turns women off.
This book isn't so much about picking up women; it more a analysis and solution guide that gives you motivation to change your perspective and life. The result could very well make you a Player, but it's really designed for creating the right attitude, self-confidence and presentation to live a more successful life. Life is about marketing yourself; knowing the right girl to approach, how to sell your stuff most efficiently, and knowing when to quickly cut your losses.
This book will definitely teach valuable lessons for men stuck in a rut, or men looking for the extra edge.

Summary: Renaissance Man
Comment: Intelligent, shocking, serious and hilarious analysis. Sort of a love it or hate book. I loved it. The major theme is self-defense, and picking and choosing your female battles carefully. Obviously the most telling advice is setting up asset protection before you test your final choice in a relationship. While there's a somewhat harsh tone in the analysis of the modern day women, (though deserved in many cases), it certainly has some powerful insights and a biting sense of humor to keep the information entertaining.
From an overview standpoint, he seems to be saying that if you want to tolerate the nonsense in the US, here's how to do it, BUT he really is steering men in the last part of the book to experimenting with women from different cultures across the borders. I don't mean the wild partying weekend blowouts, which are presented in detail here, but Asian and Latin women untarnished by feminism and the spoils of the divorce industry.
Having an overseas travel job, this part brings a big huge smile. I've been doing that for years, and can vouch the girlfriend experience overseas is something that really needs to be witnessed first hand to appreciate. He definitely is spot on about the night and day differences. Women hold all the cards in the US via the legal system, media, and divorce industry. Overseas, men hold all the cards.
